Options

  • 6’0” minimum (3-ply) or 7’9” minimum (4-ply) standard treatment length. Additional lengths of treatment are available upon request.

  • Posts can be manufactured in lengths up to 60’0”.
  • For field-notching, specify the lamination and length of glue-skip to match your project.

Standard Specifications

All posts will be Rigidply Rafters, Inc Glulam posts manufactured of #1 Southern Yellow Pine, treated with CCA to a 0.6 pcf retention, and #1 untreated Southern Yellow Pine. The treated portion will be designed to extend at least one foot above the ground line. The adhesives will be wet use conforming to “ASTM 2559”. The laminations will be surfaced, glued, and clamped. The columns shall be surfaced, after curing, on the narrow faces of the laminations.

Each production lot will be qualified by the following tests as described in AITC 200-92:
