AZM® with Activate Technology takes the traditional Aluminum and Zinc coating and introduces Magnesium. Magnesium forms a chemical reaction with aluminum, mobilizing the aluminum to help form the self-sealing, protective barrier in the most vulnerable spots such as scratches and cut edges.
COLORBOND® is the direct result of extensive research and development to formulate a superior paint system against weather and UV Penetration. The proprietary technology in this paint system was perfected over 50 years by BlueScope Steel in conjunction with some of the world’s leading paint companies. The system uses specific pretreatments, a polymer primer, and a ceramic (inorganic)- containing finish coat.
COLORBOND® has been tested in some of the harshest regions where corrosive environments and high solar intensity take its high toll on painted products.
