We’re doubling our capabilities — THIS IS RIGIDPLY

Join Our Team

Rigidply Rafters Inc. is a family owned business that specializes in the manufacture of engineered wood structural products. Getting its start in 1954 in Lebanon County, PA with the manufacturing of glue-laminated arches, Rigidply Rafters Inc.’s glue-laminated products have expanded to beams, posts, heavy timber trusses, double tapered pitched beams as well as gothic, universal, and tudor arches. Sticking with engineered wood products, in 1963 Rigidply Rafters Inc. started manufacturing metal-plate connected wood roof trusses. Over the years Rigidply Rafters Inc. has grown to two plants located in Richland, PA and Oakland, MD primarily providing quality wood structural products in the mid-Atlantic region. However, our products can be found on projects throughout the United States.

Rigidply Rafters Inc. is entering an exciting new growth phase as we are currently in the midst of a multi-million dollar expansion that will more than double our glulam production capability. This expansion includes both our production facility as well as our office. Using the various glulam products that we design and manufacture, our new office serves as a beautiful example of the type of products we manufacture while providing a pleasant work environment. Rigidply Rafters Inc. has always been fortunate to have tremendously low turnover in employees with several dozen reaching 20 year anniversaries with the company and some even surpassing 50 years! However, in order to support our expansion, additional personnel will be needed. This is an exciting time at Rigidply Rafters and we offer a unique experience.
